Three years ago, the first independent film school (TFC) was established in Northeast México, offering workshops and courses for kids, teens, and adults. Our mission is to make filmmaking accessible to everyone, regardless of age or film equipment.
Nowadays, filmmaking is more accessible than ever, and we need to leverage all the new platforms and media.
We believe that with a great story and the ability to capture it on screen, film equipment is the least of our problems. Today, we have cameras with excellent quality available at a reasonable price, including smartphones.
This is why the TFC International Film Festival is being launched. We aim to promote filmmaking and invite anyone with a film project to participate and share their work. Our philosophy is: "Make films, not excuses."
The TFCIFF, OLFF, and MOONRISE International Film Festivals will be held at our school facilities.
